In May 1940, soldiers and civilians struggle by land, sea and air to evacuate the British army and their allies, Europe’s last hope, from Dunkirk.
The film, which won Oscars in sound mixing, sound editing, and film editing, is already available to stream in Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Switzerland, and Thailand, making the United Kingdom the seventh country fortunate enough to add the film Quentin Tarantino called a masterpiece to its repertoire.
Unfortunately for American subscribers, there still aren’t any signs the film will be made available for streaming in the United States.
Given how much of the film is focused on Britain’s role in this famed World War 2 battle, it’s hard to get overly upset at the Brits for lucking out with this one…
