Sex Education season 3 confirmed by Netflix with a teaser video

If you’ve watched the first two seasons of Netflix’s acclaimed comedy-drama Sex Education and remain thirsty for more, you’re in luck.

The British series, which stars Asa Butterfield and Gillian Anderson, has been officially renewed for a third season.

Netflix broke the news along with a short little teaser clip starring the show’s character Adam Groff, the headmaster at the show’s fictional Moordale Secondary School.

There’s no official word on when exactly to expect the release of Sex Education season 3, but it’s fair to assume it will follow the same January release period of the first two seasons, and be available to stream sometime in January 2021.

Season 1 of Sex Education consisted of eight episodes and was released on January 11, 2019.

Season 2 of Sex Education and its eight episodes were made available on January 17, 2020.

The second season was released roughly 11 months after it was officially renewed, so an eight episode season 3 in January 2021 seems like a safe bet.

Until then, you’ll just have to rely on the things you’ve learned in the first two seasons…
